He is best known for portraying Ymir in the short film The Reclamation of Abberossa (2026), a narrative project he also wrote and produced. In this desert-set epic, Barhoumi plays a rebel archer leading a resistance against a conquering empire. This role introduced his recurring interest in characters shaped by oppression and survival.
